Congratulations to A Bridge for Kids student Ariana Bermudez for being selected as the Patrick Henry Senior of the Year! Among her many accomplishments, Ariana served as the president of the Society of Women Engineers club and founded both the Julia Morgan Society and the Healthy Minds Club on campus. Class of 2020 Attending Their Dream Schools
A Bridge For Kids is celebrating a record class of 54 seniors who, like many of us, have battled through a very tough last few months. Sadly, many if not most, will not experience a graduation that allows them to personally walk to the stage and receive that coveted high school diploma. Billy Nguyen Wins 8th Annual Essay Contest
Billy Nguyen, a senior at Lincoln High School, beat over 200 other contestants on his way to winning the 8th Annual A Bridge for Kids Essay Contest. This is the second time in 3 years that a senior from Lincoln has won the $2,500 first prize. In 2018, Kevin Banks bested a similar number of entries in winning the top prize.
