2nd Annual Scholarship Program to Award $10,000 to High School Seniors

A Bridge for Kids is proud to announce that it will offer College Scholarships to students graduating in the Class of 2021. These scholarships will recognize and support seniors who have excelled in academics, athletics and/or the arts during their high school years.   Bridge For Kids is doubling the scholarships offered this year to "at least" $10,000. A Bridge for Kids Kicks Off 9th Annual Essay Contest- $2,500 First Prize

What does it mean to be a sponsor for an A Bridge For Kids teen? It means that you can provide financial assistance that will lessen the financial burden on an already stressed teen and that teen can buy supplies to create an exhibit that will allow her to enter a Science Fair. Imagine leaving your country, your family, and your home to plant a seed for the next generation of your family. My parents and my family are all from Sudan. Living in Sudan is not easy. My parents had to pay for everything in school - books, paper, pencils - all of which are expensive. Because of this, many students dropout of school to work. Ariana Bermudez Wins Patrick Henry Student of the Year

Class of 2020 Attending Their Dream Schools

A Bridge For Kids is celebrating a record class of 54 seniors who, like many of us, have battled through a very tough last few months. Sadly, many if not most, will not experience a graduation that allows them to personally walk to the stage and receive that coveted high school diploma. Billy Nguyen Wins 8th Annual Essay Contest

Billy Nguyen, a senior at Lincoln High School, beat over 200 other contestants on his way to winning the 8th Annual A Bridge for Kids Essay Contest. This is the second time in 3 years that a senior from Lincoln has won the $2,500 first prize. In 2018, Kevin Banks bested a similar number of entries in winning the top prize. This year, students were asked to address something they had done in their life that they were the most proud of.
