We are proud to announce the winners of the 2022 A Bridge for Kids College Scholarship. Each year we recognize and support low-income high school seniors throughout San Diego who have excelled in academics, athletics and/or the arts during their high school years. This year over $20,000 in funding was granted to low income, high achieving seniors who are committed to attending a four-year college. Samantha Palmerin, a senior at Escondido Charter High School, bested 175 other entrants in winning the 10th Annual A Bridge for Kids Essay Contest. This is the first time that a student from Escondido Charter has won the event and earned the $2,500 first prize. Congratulations to Samantha! A Bridge for Kids is proud to announce that it will offer College Scholarships to students graduating in the Class of 2022. Celebrating the Holiday with the San Diego Gulls
A Bridge for Kids celebrated the holidays with the San Diego Gulls again this year. On December 18th, over 150 students, alumni, sponsors and other supporters gathered at Pechanga Arena for a night of fun, giving, and some local hockey as well. The Holidays are a very special time when we are able to get together, give gifts, and share stories. This year we did all of that and more! DreamMakers Raises Record $250,000 to Support “At-Risk” Teens
A record number of supporters helped raise a groundbreaking total of over $250,000 at the A Bridge for Kids 9th Annual DreamMakers fundraiser on Saturday, November 13th.
