Picture Perfect Holiday

At A Bridge for Kids, we’re all about giving underserved students the opportunities and resources they need to thrive. None of this would be possible without the generosity of people who believe in our mission. One such person is Moses Mabini, a photographer whose kindness has made a lasting impact on our students and their families.

Moses first connected with A Bridge for Kids as the photographer for our 12th annual DreamMakers Gala. That night, he captured the heart and spirit of the event through his lens, but his involvement didn’t stop there. After hearing two of our students share their stories, Moses was so moved that he wanted to give back in a more personal way.

Just last weekend, Moses generously offered his time and talent to create a special holiday gift for five of our students and their families. He hosted a mini photo shoot in the beautiful setting of Coronado, capturing portraits these families will treasure for years to come. For our students—who often face challenges that most of us can only imagine—it was a chance to celebrate themselves and their loved ones in a truly joyful way.

Moses’ generosity is a powerful reminder for our students—and for us—that there is a community of people who believe in them and want to see them succeed. These moments of connection and support are what A Bridge for Kids is all about. Whether it’s through college tours, scholarships, SAT prep, or tutoring, we strive to open doors for students who dream of a brighter future. And it’s acts of kindness like Moses’ that make those dreams a reality.

This holiday season, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Moses Mabini for his compassion and dedication. He has made this season brighter for our students and their families, and his generosity reminds us of the power of coming together. To our supporters, thank you for being an essential part of this mission. Together, we are transforming lives and paving the way for a brighter future.
