Holiday Party with the San Diego Gulls!

A Bridge for Kids joyously celebrated the holidays alongside the San Diego Gulls once again this year. On December 23rd, more than 170 students, alumni, sponsors, and supporters gathered at Pechanga Arena for a night filled with festive fun, giving, and local hockey excitement.

This special time of the year brought us together for gift-giving and storytelling, creating cherished memories. The San Diego Gulls, in the spirit of generosity, granted unique experiences, including a group picture on the ice, participation in the “tee-shirt-toss” on the ice, and an opportunity for 4 kids to tour the penalty box before the game. The San Diego Gulls honored A Bridge for Kids for over a decade of supporting "at-risk" teens in San Diego, presenting a $1,000 check to ABFK to further our mission in the upcoming year.

This annual event has become a fan favorite, uniting our ABFK family, allowing sponsors to spend quality time with their students, and also introducing our students to ABFK Alumni attending colleges all around the world! We are truly blessed to have such amazing, caring, and generous students and sponsors as part of our A Bridge for Kids Family.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to The San Diego Gulls for their warm hospitality, La Jolla Country Day School for providing gifts to all our students through their Giving Tree gift-giving program, and everyone else who contributed to making this special night possible.
