Mary- An Aspiring Doctor
Me, myself and I, they all like to learn new things that will help me in life; something I will never forget when I am older. I like to be optimistic. All that begun couple of years ago, when my cousin was born with autism, a mental condition when it makes it difficult to communicate or form a relationship with other people around you. As my cousin was growing up, you could easily see that he is special, not like other kids around him.I made up my mind of being a therapist for children who were born with a special, unique development like down or Turner syndromes. Those kids are like everyone else, and I would like to help them when am older, so they can express themselves better and be the same as everyone else because everything is achievable and nothing is impossible to accomplish. I know that if I become a therapist I will get more experiences from them then what they can get from me.Money is always something that regularly gets in the way of people, but that shouldn’t stop me from helping them. Receiving a sponsorship from A Bridge for Kids will help me archive my goal by visiting and learning about what university has the best therapeutic carrier for me to go to.This is something I would really like to do for these children. Later on if I have the opportunity I would like to dig a little dipper to find a solution to there problem by studying something that is very complex which is the brain, and find a method to prevent this from happening, I would do this be studying neurosurgeon later on. I know that with your help and God’s I can make a change in these children.Mary was one of eight teenagers sponsored by one incredibly generous family. She received her $2,000 sponsorship on April 29th, 2014!
