We did it! Thanks to you and to the record number of supporters at our 7th Annual DreamMakers Fundraiser, we raised over $200,000, which will help high-achieving, low-income teens reach for the stars!

October 5, 2019 - A Bridge For Kids' 7h Annual DreamMakers fundraiser shone bright with star-studded guests including Marilyn Monroe, James Bond, and our glamourous community of supporters. We want to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our many sponsors, donors, and guests who showed up to further our mission of helping San Diego teens create bright and successful futures.

This amazing evening was highlighted by inspirational speakers who shared personal stories about their own experiences with A Bridge for Kids. We were honored to have Richard Vu, our very first sponsorship recipient talk about his struggles as a first-generation American and how A Bridge for Kids helped him overcome insecurities so that he was able to pursue his passions in college and beyond. We are so excited to share that Richard is the very first ABFK alum to pay it forward by sponsoring a teen through our program.

DreamMakers guests also enjoyed an open bar, delicious food stations, casino games, fun photo booths, live entertainment and dancing to music by DJ Noel. A great time was had by all! Most importantly, our guests raised over $200,000, a new record that will allow additional students to go on college tours, take SAT/ACT classes, receive tutoring, and much more.

Thank you again for being a part of DreamMakers. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will allow us to continue providing life-changing programs that will help "level the playing field" for low-income kids in San Diego.
