Trinity

Growing up, I have always taken on responsibility and cared deeply about others. As the oldest sibling, I have helped take care of my three younger brothers, which taught me patience, leadership, and compassion at a young age. At Clark Middle School, I was actively involved in soccer, both at the YMCA and on my school team, which helped me develop teamwork and discipline. I was also honored to be selected for programs such as Community Scholars and the Cesar Chavez program, where I participated in community service and served as a congress chavista. These experiences helped me understand the importance of giving back and supporting my community.

Currently, I continue to stay involved and focused on my goals. I am part of the FACES and Rady Children’s programs, which are helping me explore careers in healthcare. I also participate in track, and running has become something I truly enjoy because it challenges me to stay dedicated and push myself. I am proudly bilingual and passed the LOTE exam, which allows me to communicate and help a wider range of people. I always try to help others whenever I can, whether it’s supporting classmates or being there for my family.

Looking toward the future, I aspire to become a NICU nurse because I want to care for newborns and support families during critical moments in their lives. My top college choices are PLNU, UCLA, and SDSU, where I hope to continue my education and follow a pathway into nursing. I am motivated to work hard, grow, and take advantage of every opportunity that will help me achieve my goals and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
