Summer Speaker Series
A Bridge for Kids was thrilled to welcome Charlotte Marshall, global employer brand strategist, bestselling author, and one of LinkedIn’s Top 10 Employer Branding Experts, as one of our Speaker Series guest. Known for her bold and purpose-driven strategies that help companies attract top talent and foster authentic workplace cultures, Charlotte inspired students with both her story and her practical advice.
During the session, Charlotte shared valuable lessons from her career journey, covering everything from preparing for job interviews to finding a company culture that truly fits. Her advice was clear: authenticity matters, both in personal branding and in choosing where to work.
In a generous surprise, Charlotte gifted every attending student a personal copy of her bestselling book, Give & Get Employer Branding: Repel the Many and Compel the Few with Impact, Purpose and Belonging, which can be purchased on Amazon. The book is a guide to building authentic employer brands that create genuine emotional connections in the workplace.
The session sparked thoughtful questions, lively conversation, and plenty of note-taking from our students, who walked away with insights that will support them long after graduation.
We are grateful to Charlotte for sharing her time, knowledge, and resources with our students. This session was another reminder of the power of connection and how the right mentorship at the right moment can open doors.
We are also incredibly grateful to Cooley LLP for generously hosting this event and providing food for our students. Their continued support makes opportunities like this possible and helps us deliver meaningful programming to the students we serve.
