Imagine a world where you can succeed by being nice. Where we all pay it forward. Where people look out for each other. It all starts with an act.
A Random Act of Kindness!
HOW IT WORKS
A Bridge for Kids has been providing a “hand-up” to underserved teens for over a decade but this year we wanted to do even more. We wanted to do something different and have an even greater impact on our community. So we asked our students to share a story about a family member who is experiencing tough circumstances and deserving of support. We have read each of these many stories (some many times) and selected one to highlight. This much-deserving person will receive at least $1,000 from a generous donor, but we are hoping to do much more and this is where it is up to you!

WHO WE ARE HELPING
This story resonated with us because it highlights the immense sacrifices and resiliency of an A Bridge for Kids student’s mother, who worked tirelessly to support her family in both a third-world country and later in America. Despite facing homelessness, a broken marriage, and significant financial dislocation, she always prioritized her child's needs and ensured, to this day, that his dream of attending college would be realized.
Have you ever done something for someone who can never repay you? Now is your chance!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
If it resonates with you, we ask that you consider making a tax-deductible donation as a show of kindness. All money raised between now and Random Acts of Kindness Day on February, 17th will go directly to this single mom who is trying to support her family and keep a roof over their heads. In addition, thanks to a generous donor, all money raised will be matched, thereby doubling your impact!
