My name is Ariya, and I am originally from Persia. My background has played an important role in shaping the person I am today and has taught me to appreciate the opportunities I have and to never take them for granted. Throughout high school, I have tried to challenge myself academically while also pursuing the things I am passionate about. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, and I take a lot of pride in my academics because I know that education will be an important part of my future. At the same time, lacrosse has become one of the biggest parts of my life. I am extremely passionate about the sport, and I work on my skills every day because I know that becoming a great player requires more than just talent. It requires dedication, discipline, patience, and the willingness to keep working even when improvement does not happen immediately. Lacrosse has taught me how to handle challenges, learn from mistakes, work with others, and continue pushing myself toward goals that may seem far away. I have also developed a strong interest in finance and business, and I hope to eventually build a career in finance.
Looking toward the future, my goal is to continue succeeding academically while developing myself into the best lacrosse player I can become. My ultimate goal for college is to earn a scholarship to play lacrosse, preferably at Princeton University. Princeton is a school that stands out to me because of both its outstanding lacrosse program and its academic opportunities, especially in an area like finance that I am interested in pursuing long-term. I understand that reaching that level will take a tremendous amount of work, and I am willing to put in that work. An ABFK sponsorship would help make that goal more realistic by allowing me to play club lacrosse and showcase my skills at a higher level. Club lacrosse would give me the opportunity to compete against stronger players, gain valuable experience, and put myself in situations where college coaches can see what I am capable of. More than simply helping me play another season of lacrosse, this sponsorship would give me an opportunity to take an important step toward the future I am working for. I am grateful to be considered for this support, and if given the opportunity, I would make the most of it by continuing to work hard in the classroom, on the field, and toward my long-term goals.
